INCOMPARABLE EXPEPERIENCE

Last Thursday, September 26, 2013, me and Joanna Malicdem went to Apalit, Pampanga to witness the "Pasalamat ng Katawan" of the Members of the Church of God International (MCGI). Before we took a bus, we went to DZME which is located at the 5th floor of the Victory Mall near the terminal. We visited our friends there and told them to follow us right after their on the job training. As we finished our conversation with them, we went to the grocery to buy some goods like alcohol, tissues, etc.

Me and Malicdem were very excited. We ate junk foods while we were heading to Apalit. We did a lot of conversations. After a long hours of waiting, we reached our destination. First, we cleaned our place and put a cover so that we were able to lie down. We took a rest for a while. A few minutes later, we bought foods and ate in one of the stores there.

At 11:00 pm, if I'm not mistaken, Nerissa, Mean and Rodel arrived. They have their meal first. After that, we shared stories. We were just waiting for tomorrow, the beginning of PNK.

At 5:30 in the morning, I woke up. Me and Malic searched for a washroom. We can't talk until we haven't brushed our teeth. It's funny when we were avoiding to talk to each other because of it. We bought breakfast before the "awitan" ended. We went back to our place and waited for it to start.

The first topic was about the content of the famous prayer entitled "Our Father". I was amazed when Bro. Eli and Kuya Daniel explained that this was wrongfully translated. Within the 21 years of my existence, this is the first time that I realized that there is something wrong in the prayer.

The moment when we sing and dance the songs of praise for God is the best part of PNK. Although I didn't know the choreography, I joined the brethren and did it as lively as I can.

Friendship also are being strengthen here. For 3 days that we were together, we do things at the same time like eating together, learning together and sharing stories together. When somebody is in need of something, one will volunteer to give what she asked for without hesitations.

Each day is a new learnings coming from Bro. Eli and Kuya Daniel. I am very thankful because I became part of it and I will not be tired of coming here.I'm excited for the next PNK!
FUN AT PHOTOWALK
The Photoville International held a photowalk last September 20, 2013 together with the students of La Verdad Christian College, MCT-2B. It started as early as 8:00 in the morning in the vicinity of Maynila. The founder of this activity is Mr. Dominic Meily and he is also the president of the organization.

The real purpose of this event is to practice the students on how to capture a great picture along the streets. With the knowledge that we gained from our class sessions and photography seminars, we were able to determine a good shot. We were also guided by our instructor, Mr. Dominic and the other members of Photoville International.

Before we started the Photowalk, a little briefing was made. After that, we were divided into five to six groups. Each group has a leader. Mr. Dominic made sure that everyone understand the purpose of this event and everyone will have fun.

I was belong to the group of team Bag-yo, headed by Mr. Dominic. Before we started taking photos, we ate bananacue first. The first photo that was took by our group was the portrait of the old man who is selling candies and cigarettes on the sidewalk. Our leader told us that the old man is one of his favorite subject. We went along the underpass and I found a big picture of leaf. He positioned Mean on the right side of it because she wore a green jacket. I thought this is a good a subject. So, I made my first shot.

We entered Intramuros and took pictures everywhere. My favorite subject is the intersection of the path and the S-shape of it. We walked and we captured photos. We also have our own portraits. It was really fun.

When we reached the wall with a beautiful graffiti, our group made a jump shot. Mr. Dominic joined us. A very long walk made my stomach cry. It was a good thing that he invited us to have some lunch in one of the restaurant in Maynila. I forgot the name. That restaurant also served as the meeting place of all the groups. We ate and shared stories together.

After our lunch break, we continued our activity. A long hours have passed and the time to say goodbye has come. But before that, the best part happened. We had a group picture at the Baywalk. We had jump shots and wacky shots.

It was a very long day for me. Thanks to Mr. Dominic and to team Bag-yo. I really enjoyed and had so much fun.
